A message from Ashleigh Gillespie, our Volunteering Development Officer, ahead of Volunteers’ Week 2026:
Volunteers’ Week runs annually 1 – 7 June, and is a special time to celebrate and thank the people who give their time and dedication to support others and their local communities. Volunteers are at the heart of our communities, and this campaign week is all about recognising their incredible impact.
We encourage all organisations, groups, and local people to engage with the campaign – to support this, Volunteer Scotland has a dedicated Resources page (linked for your convenience), which includes thank you cards, certificates, fun photo props (amongst others) available to download. Everything to help you celebrate your volunteers in style!
Now’s the perfect time to start planning and printing any materials you’ll need.”
For further information, please visit the dedicated Volunteers’ Week website.
Alternatively, for dedicated support, help and guidance around volunteering locally in the Falkirk District (whether you’re looking to recruit more volunteers, celebrate your existing volunteers, or improve the way you manage volunteers), please contact our team by phone: 01324 692000, or email: infor@cvsfalkirk.org.uk
