Forth Environment Link’s (FEL) Climate Action Hub’s second round of seed grants are open to applications. These are funded by Scottish Government and are part of the Net Zero Scotland campaign. This second opportunity will see funds of between £250 and £1000 awarded, and the application window is open until Monday 19 August 2024.
The aim of this fund is to provide funds for community-led projects that focus on:
- Making the community more aware of climate change and its effects
- Building partnerships between community groups and organisations
- Helping communities begin to develop their own innovative solutions to climate change
- Giving communities a stronger voice in advocating for climate action
- Supporting a shift to a more sustainable and fair future, with a focus on climate justice
Any community organisation or community group (including community council, charities, community trust and Community Interest Companies) in the Forth Valley and Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park area (excluding Argyll) can apply for this grant.
The grant application period starts on the 22 July 2024. The final date for submitting proposals is the 5pm on the 19 August 2024.
