Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) has launched their updated Community Resource Pack and Start-Up Grant application form.
The Community Resource Pack provides information and tools to help community-led groups get started, and contains sample policies and templates to support local groups or organisations, which can be adapted to suit. The resource pack contains:
- support and guidance on recruitment of volunteers
- a volunteering policy
- a Health and Safety policy
- risk assessments, including a COVID-19 risk assessment
- links and examples of existing community resources
The Start-Up and Restart small grant scheme aims to help with groups start-up costs. Groups can apply for up to £500 to support costs associated with restarting or starting activities. Funding may be used to cover a one-off venue hire cost, and can be spent on items such as PPE equipment, or new equipment such as coffee urns or folding chairs.
The primary beneficiary of this fund is adults. While Falkirk HSCP can accept applications from groups supporting families, they cannot accept applications which only support children and young people.
