Join Falkirk District Older People’s Network (OPN) on Thursday 25 June 2026 for a welcoming and informative morning focused on community safety, support and staying connected in later life.
This session, taking place in person at 1st Falkirk Scots Hall, 10am – 12pm, welcomes local partners to share practical advice and information on support available for older adults across the Falkirk District. Focused on community safety, support and staying connected in later life, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service will highlight ways communities can stay safe and well; Tatjana Sandon, Falkirk Council, will discuss digital inclusion and safety; and PC Beth Paterson, Police Scotland, will speak about police processes and responses to community safety in Falkirk.
The meeting is an opportunity to meet like-minded people and organisations from across the Falkirk District, hear more about the work and role of the OPN, and explore how to become involved in the network. We warmly encourage organisations supporting older adults to bring along one or two members aged 50+ who may be interested in learning more about the network, meeting others, and finding out what is available locally.
