The Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund for Adults (the Fund), established in 2021, has received a further award from Scottish Government enabling a fourth round of the Fund to be made available to third groups and organisations in Falkirk District, and across Scotland.
A fourth round of funding, to the value of £15 Million across Scotland, was announced in Spring 2024 and directly contributes to Outcome 4 of Scottish Government’s Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy published in June 2023. The Fund has been managed and distributed by Third Sector Interfaces (TSIs), like CVS Falkirk & District, since its inception.
The Fund has a strong focus on prevention and early intervention and aims to support local activities tackling mental health inequalities and addressing priority issues of social isolation and loneliness, suicide prevention and tackling poverty and inequality with an emphasis on responding to the ongoing cost of living crisis and on those facing socioeconomic disadvantage.
The fund will be launched in the coming weeks; in the meantime, if you are interested in applying, please do register with our bespoke Grant Funding Portal (GFP) (linked for your convenience), as all applications will be submitted this way. If you have already registered with the GFP, please take this time to ensure your details are all accurate and up to date.
Further information on the fund will be available soon via our social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn), here on our website, and via our e-bulletin.
