Falkirk Health & Social Care Partnership (HSCP) has established three locality areas as part of its commitment to deliver services that meet the needs of the communities. The three locality areas are:
- West Locality: Denny, Bonnybridge, Larbert and Stenhousemuir
- Central Locality: Falkirk town, Camelon, Bainsford/Langlees and Hallglen
- East Locality: Grangemouth, Bo’ness, Braes Villages
The HSCP are required to develop Locality Plans to help identify and address the needs of each Locality area and demonstrate how the Outcomes and Priorities in the Falkirk HSCP Strategic Plan 2023-2026 will be delivered on a local basis.
Work is now underway to develop the three Locality Plans. A steering group of key stakeholders has convened to oversee the development of the Locality Plans. The Steering Group have outlined a high-level Action Plan to develop the Plans.
Locality Delivery Groups for each Locality area will be convened to undertake the development of Locality Plans. The Locality Delivery Groups will include stakeholders specific to the Locality area to deliver the plan.
Consultation:
Falkirk Central Locality Delivery Group are undertaking a consultation and engagement phase to hear from the public their thoughts on the challenges the Delivery Group have identified within Falkirk Central. Falkirk Central Locality covers the areas of Falkirk town, Camelon, Bainsford/Langlees and Hallglen. The public are being asked if they agree with the challenges identified and if anything is missing that should be considered.
The public are also being asked about the proposed priorities for the Central Locality which Falkirk H&SCP hope will help to address the challenges. The public are being asked if they agree with the proposed priorities or if they feel anything else should be included. Feedback from engagement will help the Delivery Group determine actions to take forward to help us achieve our priorities.
