As part of the Falkirk Active Travel Routes Survey and the work around it, SEStran, Arup and Falkirk Council are hosting public consultation drop-in events to gather local people’s feedback and thoughts on the proposed routes.
The events will take place in the Sunnyside Room of Camelon Community Education Centre, Abercrombie Street, Camelon, FK1 4HA, on:
- Tuesday 6th February, 12:30pm – 2:30pm
- Thursday 8th February, 6pm – 8pm
The active travel routes (focusing on walking, wheeling and cycling) are proposed to run from Falkirk to Larbert, and Falkirk to Polmont. These routes are part of the wider strategic network for the South East of Scotland (which provides a vision for a high quality regional active travel network across the south east of Scotland), and form a key part of Falkirk’s Active Travel Strategy (pdf version also available to view or download).
Local people can also submit their views and responses via the Virtual Engagement Room until 11:59pm on Friday 9th February.
