CHSS Online Regional Assembly

“Are you concerned about NHS funding, support for unpaid carers or the lack of rehabilitation support? Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland want to hear your voice!” 

Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland (CHSS) work to help people with chest, heart and stroke conditions live life to the full. Through their Campaigner Network, they raise awareness of issues facing people with these conditions and take action when necessary to bring changes for the benefit of these individuals. With 1 in 5 people in Scotland living with these conditions, CHSS believe that what’s important to you should be important to the next Scottish Government.

On Friday 8 August, from 11am – 12:30pm, CHSS welcome all those with lived experience of these supported conditions (including respiratory and cardiac conditions, stroke, and/or Long COVID) to join their online regional assembly (via Microsoft Teams) and ensure the voice of those impacted is heard by all political parties in the run up to the 2026 parliamentary elections. This event will also provide the opportunity for CHSS to share what they are trying to achieve, as well as an overview of the manifesto process itself.
