Disclosure Scotland has launched an e-course for all Disclosure applicants (including Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG)), providing information on the steps they need to take with their online Disclosure journey. The e-course covers the following:

register your online account
verifying your identity
completing a Disclosure application
viewing and sharing your Disclosure
Disclosure breakdown

In sharing this course with applicants before they begin the process, Disclosure Scotland hopes to ensure they are prepared and understand what is expected of them.

Volunteer Scotland Disclosure Services has noted a high number of applicants who do not share the results of their Disclosure, and has stressed that it is very important that the applicant knows this is their responsibility.
