Applications are now open for the Digital Inclusion Fund, which aims to improve employment access for blind and vision-impaired people across the UK by supporting digital literacy and workplace readiness.
Provided by First for Sight, the fund is designed to address the gap for those preparing for work, seeking jobs, or adapting to changes in vision. Projects should focus on one or more priority areas: workplace preparation, job seeking, retention and progression, or working in digital roles. Lived experience must be central to project design, and collaboration is encouraged.
Eligible applicants include UK-based charities, Community Interest Organisations (CIOs, including Scottish SCIOs), charitable companies, Community Interest Companies (CICs), and exempt charities. Funding covers revenue and core costs, with an annual award total of £30,000. Registration is required before applying, via the First for Sight online portal (linked for your convenience); guidance on how to register and use the portal is also available.
The deadline for applications is 12pm on Tuesday 6 January 2026.
