NHS Education for Scotland (NES) and the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) have organised a webinar for all members of the dementia workforce in Scotland, including formal and informal (unpaid) caregivers.
“Adopting Trauma-Informed and Responsive Approaches to Support People living with Dementia” takes place on Wednesday 15th November, 2pm – 4:30pm, focusing on dementia care, having been designed to support work to deliver the vision outlined in “Everyone’s Story”, the new National Dementia Strategy for Scotland (linked for your convenience).
This webinar will provide an overview of the National Trauma Training Programme, and trauma-informed approaches in Scotland, and explore the relevance and practice of trauma-informed approaches in dementia care.
