The deadline for Suicide Prevention Scotland’s latest round of the Community-Led Action research programme 2025 – 2026 is approaching, with applications due next Wednesday 5 November 2025 at 12pm.
The programme will support 6 community-based organisations to conduct an inquiry into suicide prevention in their areas. Funding of £4000 is available to support successful applicants to participate in the programme.
Successful applicants will also be supported by the Scottish Community Development Centre (SCDC), which will train, mentor, and support these organisations in community-led action research approaches.
Suicide Prevention Scotland has worked to build on the success and learning from the community-led action research programme delivered during 2024-2025, and would like to continue this approach giving voice to the communities impacted by suicide and the inequalities which increase risk.
Key dates include:
- Application deadline: Wednesday 5 November 2025
- Notification of decision: week commencing Monday 17 November 2025
- Initial training: Wednesday 26 November and Thursday 27 November 2025
