Third sector organisations who support children, young people, families and adult learners are now able to apply for core funding from the new Children, Young People, Families and Adult Learning (CYPFAL) Third Sector Fund, which will provide up to £16 million for 2 years, running April 2023 – March 2025. This new fund is provided by Scottish Government, and managed by the Corra Foundation.
The CYPFAL Third Sector Fund replaces the existing Children, Young People and Families Early Intervention & Adult Learning and Empowering Communities Fund (CYPFEI & ALEC), which launched in 2016 and has supported core services and infrastructure of 115 national third sector organisations, and collectively supported over 2.5 million people.
The new fund focuses on providing core funding to organisations which deliver services and support targeted towards positive outcomes for children, young people, families and adult learners, with particular focus on Scottish Government policy priorities:
- Children, Young People, Families and Adult Learners affected by Poverty
- The Promise
- Implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC)
- Family Support
- Mental and Physical Health and Mental Wellbeing
- Equalities and Wellbeing
The deadline for applications is 3pm on Monday 5th September.
