The team at CVS Falkirk & District are excited to welcome you to our 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM), which will take place next week on Tuesday 29 October 2024, in-person at Talbot House, Grangemouth (FK3 8HU).
The hall will be open for registration, cake and refreshments from 2:15pm, with the AGM beginning promptly at 2.30pm.
During the AGM, CVS Falkirk & District will reflect on the key moments throughout our work during 2023/24 from the Empowering Communities Programme to Finding Funding for Falkirk’s 10th Birthday, taking time to celebrate the highlights and successes experienced within our 40th anniversary year. Alongside this, we want to take this opportunity to mark the incredible efforts of the local third sector and our partners across the many strands of work we have collaborated on. Following the AGM business, our team will give a brief look forward to what you can expect next from CVS Falkirk & District.
As we look to the future, we are delighted to confirm Diarmaid Lawlor of Scottish Futures Trust will join us as we explore our potential within the Grangemouth Just Transition programme and highlight the key role the third sector will play in supporting this process.
Continuing our focus on community engagement and support, the CVS Falkirk & District AGM is a fantastic opportunity to meet our staff and board team in person, network with your fellow communities, and learn more about the role we play in supporting the third sector within Falkirk District.
