The Economy and Fair Work Committee at the Scottish Parliament has launched a call for views on a Just Transition to Net Zero in Grangemouth.
The Committee is looking at how to support, incentivise and de-risk a Just Transition to Net Zero for the entire Grangemouth area, in a way that spreads benefits regionally for companies and individuals.
Key areas that the Committee is looking to explore include:
- what planning and engagement has started for the transition to net zero
- economic and employment benefits of a net zero transition
- the skills needed to support the transition over the next two decades
- how to measure the transition
- how to ensure the learning from the Grangemouth transition supports the wider transition across Scottish industry
The deadline for responses and views is Tuesday 14th February. Please note that anyone choosing to respond does not need to answer all the questions, only those they have a view on.
To submit a written view, or for further information on other ways to submit your response, please visit the Scottish Parliament Citizen Space site.
