Bookings are open for Big Ideas, “the biggest weekend in youth work!”

Taking place Saturday 30 August – Sunday 31 August 2025 at the University of Stirling campus, Big Ideas is a residential event for young people, volunteers and youth workers, aimed at engaging, inspiring and empowering attendees to take the lead in their communities.

“Join the celebration of young people and experience an event which showcases youth work’s talents and skills!”

The weekend separate programmes for young people (designed to be full of action-packed, fun and engaging workshops) and youth workers (aiming to ignite new ideas and help gain experience). There will also be opportunities to learn new skills, network and share ideas.

Young people aged 12 – 16 years old will need to attend with a youth worker, and a parent or guardian will also be required to sign a completed consent form. Young people who are over 16 years old can self-book on to the event, and a completed consent form needs to be completed and submitted prior to the event.
