The Scottish SPCA is holding their in-person, sponsored “Bark in the Park” 5km dog walk on Sunday 28th August from 10:30am, taking place at Callendar Park in Falkirk.
Before and after the 5km walk, participants will be able to browse some pet friendly stalls, speak to the Scottish SPCA team about the work they do, and purchase Scottish SPCA merchandise.
The registration fee is £13 per adult and £6.50 per child, with a suggested £60 sponsorship target (which will feed a dog in the Scottish SPCA’s care for 12 weeks). Participants can set their own fundraising target when signing up.
All those who raise £60 or more on their individual fundraising page by 11:59pm on Thursday 25th August will have the option to collect a free pair of Scottish SPCA sunglasses and a Scottish SPCA dog bandana on the day. Additionally, anyone who raises £120 (which will provide vital vaccinations, flea and worm treatment for 6 puppies) or more by this point will also have the option to collect all of the above, plus a free Scottish SPCA cotton t-shirt on the day.
