Applications for the Empower Programme from the Bank of Scotland Foundation open on Monday 1 December 2025.
The programme provides unrestricted funding to charities supporting vulnerable people across Scotland, helping them respond to the ongoing cost of living crisis. Grants can be used for core costs, project delivery, capital expenditure, or general running costs, aiming to give organisations flexibility to meet urgent needs.
Charities may apply for a 3 year grant of £150,000 (£50,000 per annum). Successful applicants will receive strategic support from Lloyds Banking Group colleagues. Applicants must have:
- an income of £150,000 – £500,000
- a minimum of 3 years’ accounts lodged with the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR)
Please note, charities focused solely on animal welfare, religion, political activity, or grant-making are not eligible to apply.
The deadline for applications is 12pm on Wednesday 10 December 2025.
