Falkirk Foundation has announced Back in the Game, its new education programme for young people aged 16 – 25 years old, beginning in September 2026. There are 12 places available.
Back in the Game is a redesigned programme which continues the successful Off the Bench programme. It is a 12 week employability programme combining accredited education with sports and physical activity.
Participants will attend the course two days per week, and will also receive eight additional practical education sessions or experiences from local community organisations, such as Police Scotland, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, and other organisations who aim to support and develop the skills of young people.
Falkirk Foundation will also be holding an information session for those interested in referring young people, taking place on Wednesday 29 July 2026, 10am – 11am, at Falkirk Stadium, 4 Stadium Way, Falkirk, FK2 9EE.
To confirm your place at the information session, please contact Grant Ferguson by email: grant@falkirkfoundation.org
Alternatively, to refer a young person who you believe would benefit from the Back in the Game programme, complete the referral form (linked for your convenience); please ensure you include a short summary of the young person to help the Falkirk Foundation team get to know them before officially meeting them.
Further information on the programme is available via the programme flyer and timetable.
