Learn how embedding anti-racism in mental health care can reduce racialised health inequalities and lead to better outcomes for all.
THRE (Third Sector Human Rights & Equalities) and CEMVO Scotland are delivering a free two-part online training programme exploring the relationship between racism and mental health. Taking place on Wednesday 9 and Wednesday 16 September, 10am – 12.30pm, the sessions are open to frontline staff, managers and leaders across the public and third sectors. No previous knowledge is required, although please note that attendance at both sessions is expected.
Through these interactive sessions, participants will:

- Increase confidence in talking about and identifying racism
- Understand the impact of racism on mental health in ethnic minority and marginalised communities
- Understand how to take forward anti-racist practice, particularly in mental health care settings
