The Amazon Literary Partnership (ALP) has opened applications for its 2026 Grants Programme, supporting non-profit literary organisations across the UK. The programme aims to empower writers to create, publish, learn and experiment, with a strong focus on amplifying diverse voices and delivering lasting impact.
Eligible applicants are registered non-profit organisations whose work develops emerging writers, celebrates storytelling, supports diversity, and builds writers’ careers. Whilst the grant size for 2026 has not been disclosed, 38 organisations received funding in 2025.
The deadline for applications is Friday 30 January 2026, with successful organisations notified by mid-May 2026.
