The Alcohol and Drugs Fund – Local Support Grants, administered by Corra Foundation, provides funding for community-based third sector organisations across Scotland which deliver frontline support to people affected by alcohol and drugs, people in recovery, and their families. The fund forms part of Scottish Government and COSLA’s Preventing Harm, Promoting Recovery: Scotland’s Alcohol and Drugs Strategic Plan 2026 – 2035.

The programme is intended to help organisations stabilise or increase capacity, continue existing services and extend their reach within communities. Funding can support existing or new activity, including staffing, equipment, service delivery and other operational costs.

Funding is available to Scottish charities, social enterprises, constituted community groups and other third sector organisations with an annual income of up to £750,000. Organisations can apply for up to £60,000 per year for activity delivered up to April 2029. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with decision-making panels meeting regularly throughout the year, in September, and November 2026 and every two months thereafter. Applicants are typically notified of funding decisions within two months of applying.
