The Aberdeen Group Charitable Trust is inviting applications from non-profit organisations to test new ideas and pilot innovative solutions to persistent social and environmental challenges. This funding programme supports organisations to develop sustainable approaches which strengthen people’s financial capability, create pathways to fair work, and champion the role of nature in healthy communities and economies.
Applications must focus clearly on one or more of these priority areas listed above, and propose a new, time-limited project which is innovative, practical, and collaborative (which must be demonstrated in the application). Projects should demonstrate how they address the underlying, interconnected causes of the issue through frontline delivery, and how generated learning can be shared to achieve wider, lasting impact.
Grants of £20,000 – £80,000 are available for revenue costs, for projects lasting up to 18 months.
Eligible applicants include charities, social enterprises and other non-profit organisations with an annual income of £3 million or less, aligned with the Aberdeen Group’s strategy, and registered with the appropriate regulator. Funding is available for projects based in Scotland, the UK, the European Union or overseas.
The deadline for applications is Thursday 7 May 2026.
