The Women’s Fund for Scotland provides grants of up to £5,000 to projects that support women’s development, self-sufficiency and social and economic equality. Organisations may apply to sustain existing work or develop new activities.
Applicants should have a proven track record of working with women and girls, and applications must meet at least one of three themes:
- Thrive – funding the potential of women and girls to thrive (leadership, skills-building, innovation and creativity)
- Heal – funding the spaces and support systems that women need to heal (from violence, from marginalisation and from injustice)
- Rise – supporting women rising together and on their own terms (out of loneliness, of poverty and into a more equal Scotland)
Applicants should have an annual turnover of less than £500,000, with eligible organisations including charities, social enterprises and unincorporated organisations.
Funding is allocated based on decisions by the Trustees of the Women’s Fund with support from Foundation Scotland. The closing date for applications is Friday 30 October 2026.
