Volunteering Matters is recruiting a Development Worker to work with the Retired and Senior Volunteer Programme (RSVP).
As a Development Worker, the successful applicant will provide staff support to re-build RSVP activities across Forth Valley, lead a volunteer recruitment campaign, and implement sustainable infrastructure for the future. This post will be delivered via a flexible working model with part of the working week based in local communities and the remainder from the Volunteering Matters Alloa office or from home.
The position is a permanent contract of 28 hours per week, with a salary of £20,000 pa (£25,000 FTE pro rata) plus attractive employee benefits package – and is funded by the Community Mental Health and Wellbeing fund, in Falkirk, Stirling and Clackmannanshire.
Applicants do not require specific qualifications for this role, as relevant experience and skills are more important – along with a commitment to Volunteering Matters organisational values. This role requires membership of the PVG scheme; although if you are not currently a member, Volunteering Matters can support you with the application process.
