Scottish Government’s survey on Volunteering and the Third Sector Response to COVID-19 is now live.
There are 2 questionnaires: one targeted at third sector interfaces (TSIs), Local Authorities and intermediary organisations; the other aimed at organisations working directly with volunteers (volunteer-involving organisations, or VIOs) in the last 2 years.
It is hoped that this survey will provide invaluable and up-to-date insights on both the challenges and opportunities facing volunteering, and will help guide the recovery process in 2021 and beyond. The findings will be published and widely disseminated for the benefit of all VIOs.
The survey will help Scottish Government better understand the impact of COVID-19 on the third sector and volunteering during the pandemic and to inform the recovery process. The research will also provide a key section of the evidence base being gathered as part of Scotland’s participation in a UK-wide research study on the role of volunteering in the pandemic.
The deadline for all responses is 11:59pm on Sunday 23rd May.
