In response to growing concerns across the voluntary sector about the impact of hostility and intolerance, Volunteer Scotland and SCVO have launched a newly developed bank of resources: Navigating Hostility and Intolerance: Practical Guidance for Voluntary Organisations and Community Groups.
Their Quick Guide to Finding the Right Resources brings together evidence, expertise and good practice to help organisations better support people delivering vital services and community-based support across Scotland. Within this collection of resources, they have prepared top-tips and signposted guidance across six key topics:
- Dialogue Skills and Constructive Conversations
- Expert Led Safety Advice
- Internal Conversations and Team Wellbeing
- Risk Assessment and Safety Planning
- Specialist Communications Guidance
- Trauma Informed Support
