- Strathcarron Hospice Candlelight Celebration Service, Tuesday 2 December 2025, from 7pm
Strathcarron Hospice is holding a special Candlelight Celebration Service on Tuesday 2 December 2025, from 7pm on the grounds of the Hospice. While the in-person event is now fully booked, the service will be livestreamed on Facebook for people to watch in the comfort of their own home.
The Candlelight Celebration aims to celebrate the lives of those loved and remembered, with the service of remembrance and reflection led by Hospice Chaplain Stuart, accompanied by music from Dunblane Cathedral Handbell Ringers and Strathcarron Singers pianist Clare Richardson and soloist Clare McGarr.

- Denny Community Christmas Event, Sunday 7 December 2025
The new Denny District Community Group has organised a full event for the town, featuring:
- a parade starting at 11:30am, from Denny Town House to Stirling Street (roughly 30 minutes)
- Stirling Street will then be closed 12pm – 5pm for “market stalls, funfair, performances and festive fun”, including community carols, music performances, and Santa’s Grotto!
- the Christmas lights switch-on, with special guest George Talbot, Strathcarron Hospice fundraiser
The event aims to be “a full day of family spirit and togetherness”; the group has also organised a Giving Tree in the Denny Co-op, where people can donate gifts to ensure no child or adult goes without a gift this year. People are invited to take a tag from the tree, buy the gift requested or age appropriate item, and return it to the Co-op in time for Christmas.

This year, Falkirk town centre will see its first Festival of Trees, taking place 10am – 4pm on Saturday 6 December, Sunday 7 December, Saturday 13 December, and 10am – 3:30pm on Sunday 14 December 2025 in the former Wilko unit, High Street, Falkirk, FK1 1HG.
The Festival of Trees takes place in towns and cities all over the world; Falkirk’s community-driven showcase will feature around 200 beautifully decorated Christmas trees on display. Every tree will be designed by local businesses, charities, and community groups who want to bring a bit of festive sparkle to the heart of Falkirk. Visitors can also enjoy an indoor Christmas market filled with festive crafts and gifts, plus live performances from local entertainers, a school art display, and a raffle, amongst others.

- Festive Programme 2025, 4 weeks from Saturday 29 November 2025
The Festival of Trees is in addition to Falkirk Delivers’ Festive Programme 2025, which runs for 4 weeks from Saturday 29 November 2025. The programme includes Santa’s Grotto in the Howgate Shopping Centre, Santa’s Post Office on the High Street, and a Toy Solider Trail throughout Falkirk town centre.

- Christmas Elf Trail, until Monday 22 December 2025
Launched on Friday 21 November, the Grangemouth Community Council (supported by CVS Falkirk & District) have introduced a new fun and exciting Elf Trail for 2025!
Open to all, and with overwhelming support from local businesses, there are 40 Elves to find scattered throughout the Grangemouth Town Centre. Those who are able to find 30 or more Elves can post their worksheet into Santa’s post-box (in Grangemouth Library) to be included in the Christmas Prize Draw (drawn on Monday 22 December 2025).

Limerigg Action Group has been busy organising a number of festive events and activities for the village, including:
- Christmas Fayre on Friday 5 December 2025, 6pm – 8pm, in the Village Hall: including a visit from Santa! Plus stalls, games, seasonal refreshments, and Christmas carols.
- Christmas Charity Afternoon on Sunday 7 December 2025, from 3pm in the Village Hall: a fundraising event in support of Pets As Therapy, featuring a live sing-along with the Braes Wee Choir, and games including “Guess the Name of the Christmas Dog”, tombola, raffles, lucky dips, and a Christmas Jumper Competition. The event is £5 per entry (cash only), with all proceeds going to Pets As Therapy.
- Christmas Wreath Making on Friday 12 December 2025, 7pm – 9pm, also in the Village Hall: all materials will be supplied, though the event is BYOB; places are £15 each (with a £5 deposit required when booking), and can be booked by contacting Limerigg Action Group via Facebook Messenger.

- Falkirk Braes Grange Centre Christmas Fair, Sunday 7 December 2025
The Falkirk Braes Grange Centre is holding its Christmas Fair on Sunday 7 December 2025, 11am – 4pm in the centre itself, Redding Road, Brightons, FK2 0AA.
There will be a range of local stalls (featuring a range of products, including candles and wax melts, handmade wreaths and garlands, personalised items, skincare products, laser-engraved wood and slate items, plus Christmas Eve boxes, baubles, and glasses), games, food and refreshments, plus a visit from Santa himself.

Falkirk Caledonia Choir will hold its Family Christmas Concert on Sunday 14 December 2025, taking place from 3pm (doors open at 2:45pm) in the Upper Braes Parish Church (Brightons Ministry Centre), Main Street, Brightons, FK2 0JT.
The event aims to be a family-focused singalong Christmas concert, with audience participation encouraged; home baking and drinks will be available afterwards.

- Polmont Playgroup ASN Sensory Session Visit with Santa, Tuesday 16 December 2025
Each week, Polmont Playgroup offers ASN Sensory Sessions, supporting families going through the diagnosis process. Moving into the festive period, the Playgroup team is excited to announce that on Tuesday 16 December, 4pm – 5:30pm, the session will host a special visitor: Santa!
During the session, each child will have the opportunity to visit Santa, and every child attending will receive a gift. The usual sensory Stay & Play Class will also be offered whilst Santa is doing his rounds. Places are £8 each, and are limited. Booking via the online form is essential.

- Stenhousemuir Christmas Festival, Saturday 29 November 2025
KLSB Community Group has organised the Stenhousemuir Christmas Festival, taking place on Saturday 29 November 2025, 12pm – 4:30pm in Stenhousemuir Town Centre!
Along with festive stalls selling homemade goods, food and drink, there will be real Christmas trees for sale, face painting, a giant snow globe, tribute acts inspired by Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, and Sabrina Carpenter, and visits from the Grinch and Santa himself before the festive lights are switched on. There will also be live entertainment from Dionne Hickey.

- Falkirk Caledonia Choir Annual Christmas Concert, Monday 15 December 2025
Falkirk Caledonia Choir will hold its annual Christmas Concert on Monday 15 December 2025, taking place from 7:30pm in the choir’s “home” rehearsal venue, Larbert Tryst Church, Main Street, Stenhousemuir, FK5 4QB.
There will be a variety of festive tunes to help get people in the Christmas spirit. Audience participation will be encouraged. The concert is open to everyone, and tickets are £10 each for adults, £5 for children under 16 years old (children under 5 years old can attend for free).
