Under The Trees (UTT) is a nature-based charity that connects people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities to the natural world. Through inclusive outdoor learning, environmental education, wellbeing sessions, and community engagement, they aim to inspire a lifelong love for nature. The experienced UTT team delivers forest schools, volunteer opportunities, public events, and tailored programmes that promote biodiversity, confidence, and community connection.
Supporting adult health and wellbeing, UTT are excited to offer fortnightly nature walks throughout 2026, based at Plean Country Park (. These will take place on Wednesdays from 11.30am-12.30pm, followed by an optional free lunch of soup and rolls so that you can sit and enjoy some company. Upcoming dates can be confirmed via their event poster (linked for your convenience).
Maintaining a beginners pace, the walk is less than 2 miles and will be a maximum walking time of 1 hour. Most of the walks will be on predominantly flat paved paths, with some stretches along narrower paths which could be muddy. Nature ID guides will be provided for those who are interested, and assistance dogs are welcome. Sturdy walking shoes or boots are recommended at each event, and please note the walk is likely to go ahead in inclement weather so come prepared, with plenty of waterproof layers.
Open to all adults, and free to attend, the next walk will take place on Wednesday 11 March 2026 – and fortnightly thereafter. Booking is requested to provide estimated numbers, and can be done via the UTT Book When webpage (linked for your convenience).
