Link Living has announced the details of their next Steps to Resilience course, aimed at young people in Falkirk aged 16 – 24 years old.
The course will run from Link Academy in Falkirk every Monday and Tuesday, 10am – 2pm, for 10 weeks from on Monday 30th January.
Steps to Resilience is designed as a unique opportunity for young people to work on self-development, build confidence and learn new skills for the future. The course aims to give people the tools to better manage their own wellbeing and covers a number of topics such as Sleep, Conflict Resolution, Stress and Anxiety, Self-image and Social Media.
Sessions are interactive and include arts and craft material, VR Headsets, games and challenges. The course also includes a day out and celebration. Young people will have a dedicated project worker during the training which will also include one to one support at certain points of the course.
To refer a young person for Steps to Resilience, please download and complete the Referral Form (linked for your convenience), and return by email: lareception@linkgroup.org.uk
On receipt of the referral form, a member of the team will be in touch with the young person to arrange an initial meeting with the trainers, in advance of the course starting.
