Step on Stress is stress management course available to people living and working across Forth Valley over 16 years of age. It is aimed at those with mild-moderate levels of stress and teaches some of the causes and triggers of stress. It also provides techniques to manage the symptoms.
Step on Stress is pre-recorded and live-streamed once a week over 3-weeks (2, 9 and 16 April 2025). Each session lasts for about an hour and covers a different aspect of stress management:
- Session 1: Introduction & how to manage stress in your body
- Session 2: Manage your thoughts
- Session 3: Manage your behaviour.
Step on Stress helps you to understand and manage stress in your body, identify and modify your negative thinking and manage how you react and react in stressful situations – they are not therapy sessions, you simply sit back and listen. The course is accompanied by workbooks to support your learning. Step on Stress can also be delivered in-house for community-based groups.
