Scattered around the Grangemouth Town Centre, Santa’s Elves have gone shopping – can you find them all and tell Santa so he can get them home in time for Christmas?
Launching Christmas in Grangemouth, the Grangemouth Community Council (supported by CVS Falkirk & District) are excited to extend the festive fun with a new-for-2025 ‘Christmas Elf Trail’. In preparation for the big day (the Christmas Markets and Light Switch On taking place on Saturday 22 November, 2pm–4pm), get a head start on Christmas by taking part in the Christmas Elf Trail launching this Friday 21 November 2025!
Some Elves may still be shopping, whilst others may be watching from the windows, but how many can you discover? Open to all, and with overwhelming support from local businesses, there are 40 Elves to find scattered throughout the Grangemouth Town Centre. Use your worksheet to note down which shop you have found each Elf exploring – with identifying numbers hidden on their person, can you match the shop with it’s number?
Worksheets can be downloaded (Christmas Elf Trail Worksheet) or collected from various locations around Grangemouth Town Centre:
- Grangemouth Library (open 10am–5pm Monday, Tuesday and Friday; 10am – 8pm on Thursdays; and 10am – 3pm on Saturdays)
- La Gondola Fish & Chip Shop (open 10am–10pm Monday–Saturday; and 4pm–10pm on Sundays)
- Browns Barbers (open 9.15am–5pm Monday–Friday; and 9am–4pm on Saturdays)
- Ross Phillips Jewellers (open 9am–5pm Monday–Saturday)
- Loo Crew Shop (Tuesday – Saturday)
Those who are able to find 30 or more Elves can post their worksheet into Santa’s post-box (found in Grangemouth Library) to be included in the Christmas Prize Draw (to be drawn on Monday 22 December 2025).
The Elf Trail aims to foster connection and community spirit over the festive season by bringing families and individuals into local businesses, with one of the organisers Marnie Forster (CVS Falkirk & District) highlighting:
“We are overwhelmed by the positive reaction of our local businesses to the prospect of welcoming an elf into their establishment throughout the festive period. We hope this year’s Christmas Elf Trail brings some joy to individuals and families and encourages us all to shop local this Christmas.”
