As part of Cyber Scotland Week this week, the Police Scotland Cybercrime Harm Prevention team has released a new podcast episode, with guest is Ian Hickling of Pervade, who joined the team to discuss Police Cyber Alarm.
Police Cyber Alarm (PCA) is an award-winning free tool, provided by local police forces and funded by the Home Office, to help businesses or organisations monitor and report the suspicious cyber activity they face. PCA detects and provides regular reports of suspicious cyber activity and vulnerabilities, enabling the organisation to identify and mitigate its cyber risks.
Ian is the National Co-ordinator for Police Cyber Alarm, and is responsible for its national roll out. During the episode, Ian and the Police Scotland team discuss what PCA is, and what it does. Ian also answers some of the frequently asked questions about the product.
