Following extensive engagement, NHS Forth Valley has published its new Population Health and Care Strategy, setting out a clear vision and ambitions for the next ten years. Aligned with both local Health and Social Care Partnership plans and key national health priorities, the new approach marks a shift from treating illness to preventing it—focusing on helping people live healthier lives, reaching those who need care earlier, and tackling wider factors that affect wellbeing such as employment, housing, and transport.
The Strategy also highlights plans to expand services delivered in local communities and ensure the best use of available resources to improve health outcomes across Forth Valley.
For your convenience, we have linked both the Summary Document and the Strategy in full.
