NHS Forth Valley is seeking to recruit three new Non-Executive Board members to help shape the delivery of local health services across the area. They are interested in hearing from people who want to make a positive difference to the local communities being served – and applications are encouraged from people with a wide range of backgrounds, who meet the requirements of the roles as set out in the person specification, and who can bring wide and varied perspectives.
Specifically, they are looking for individuals with experience in:
- Role 1 – Governance: Experience of successfully setting, implementing, or overseeing a clear vision and strategic direction and effectively monitoring performance to improve outcomes.
- Role 2 -Leadership and /or Oversight of Transformation and Change: Demonstrates evidence of understanding critical factors for success in transformation and change, and how to monitor effectiveness and impact
- Role 3 – Experience of Finance and/or Risk: Experience of the oversight of strategic risk and how corporate risk management processes can influence Board meeting agendas.
Remuneration is £11,700 per annum (non-pensionable) based on working for 8 hours per week, on average. The expectation is that there will be a blend of virtual and physical meetings, and a physical presence will be required to be able to conduct the full range of Board activities across Forth Valley.
The closing date for applications is Monday 20 January 2025 at 5pm. Interviews will be held on the 17, 18 and 21 February at the NHS Forth Valley Board Headquarters (Carseview House, Castle Business Park, Stirling).
