Third Sector Human Rights and Equalities (THRE) has recently launched 2 new e-learning courses on human rights and equalities, which are free to Scotland’s third sector.
“Human Rights and Equalities First Approach: The Basics” uses real life examples and interactive learning to build an understanding of what is meant by human rights and equalities, whilst introducing key concepts and ideas, and showing participants how to bring these into their everyday work, and place them at the center of what their organisation does. The course is modular, so participants can complete it at their own pace, with an estimated 1-2 hours needed to finish the whole course.
“PANEL Principles: Human Rights and Equalities in Practice” is a new interactive toolkit which supports learners to use the PANEL principles to apply a Human Rights and Equalities First Approach in their work and their organisational decision-making. It was developed by THRE with permission from the Scottish Human Rights Commission, and is based on their original guidance.
