Following last Friday’s meeting, and targeted recruitment by CVS Falkirk and Falkirk and Clackmannanshire Carers Centre, Falkirk’s Integration Joint Board (IJB) has formally appointed Ian Dickson (CEO of Falkirk’s Mental Health Association (FDAMH)) as third sector representative, and Carol Ann Harrower as carers representative.
The appointments have been made to expand the range of expertise and experience informing decisions made by the Board, which has responsibility for planning, resourcing and operational oversight of Falkirk’s community-based health and social care services.
As well as informing decisions and discussion on the IJB, the new representatives will feedback and represent the work of the Board to their respective networks – including the Falkirk Carers’ Voices and third sector meetings, such as the Health and Wellbeing Forum.
New substitute representatives have also been appointed to the board: Lorraine Love, Forth Valley Royal Voluntary Service (third sector substitute representative), and Gillian Sherlock (service user substitute representative).
Or team at CVS Falkirk would like to extend our congratulations to the new representatives and substitutes – we are looking forward to working closer with you all.
