Falkirk and Clackmannanshire Carers Centre, with Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP), is looking for a new Carer Representative to represent the views and interests of local carers on the Integrated Joint Board (IJB).
The IJB is made up of representatives from NHS Forth Valley, third sector representatives, service users and carers. It has responsibility for the planning, resourcing, and the operational oversight of a wide range of local health and social care services.
The Carer Representative role has a commitment of 3 years, and involves attending 4 IJB meetings (plus associated meetings or development days) per year, along with providing updates and feedback from the IJB to the Falkirk Carers’ Voices meetings. The Carers Centre will support the Carer Representative in their role, and any expenses will be covered.
