Money Advice Scotland has released its events schedule for June 2021, with all events, training and sessions free to attend.

Train the Trainer: Digital Delivery of Financial Wellbeing
This course is aimed at professionals who undertake financial capability work with clients on a one-to-one basis and in group settings.
This course, new for 2021, aims to help advisers develop skills to improve clients’ financial wellbeing. There will be a focus on how this work can be undertaken using digital platforms, and the link between digital inclusion and financial wellbeing.
An interactive online class via Zoom with limited spaces; early booking advised.

Money Works Webinar: Scams
There has been a significant surge in scams, as scammers are exploiting the COVID-19 crisis to commit fraud. In this webinar, Money Advice Scotland will discuss how to identify scams and review different types of money scams. They will also provide tips to avoid falling victim to fraudulent activity, and how to keep money safe. Webinar via Zoom, with unlimited spaces.

Money Advice Scotland also runs virtual interactive “Money Goals” workshops for service users, which cover a range of topics and can be tailored to any group. Workshops typically last one hour, with a minimum of 8 attendees per workshop required.
