The McCarthy Stone Foundation has announced that its Community Grants Programme will re-open for applications on Friday 26 July 2024.
The Foundation awards unrestricted core funding to grassroots charitable organisations, who have people over 65 at the heart of their work. Unrestricted funding is only available to registered charities and community groups (Community Interest Companies are ineligible).
Organisations who can demonstrate a strong alignment with their charitable aims are invited to apply for unrestricted funding, currently up to £7500. If you are unsure whether you should apply for core cost funding, please get in touch for advice.
The closing date for applications will be Friday 23 August 2024.
Further timings for the upcoming grants round are as follows:
- July 26: Applications Open.
- August 23: Applications Closed – shortlisting and due diligence takes place.
- September 16: Shortlisted applications go to Grants Sub-Committee.
- September 30: Sub-Committee meets and recommends awards.
- October 15: Trustee Board meets to approve awards.
- October 16/17: Applicants informed of outcome.
