Link Academy (part of the Link Group) is currently accepting referrals for their Moving On Up course, beginning this August in Falkirk.

Moving On Up is a personal development programme designed for young people aged 16 – 19 years old, offering participants the opportunity to gain new skills, build confidence, explore their future goals, and connect with others in a supportive environment. Young people will work on confidence building through mental health and wellbeing workshops, volunteering opportunities and completing SCQF Qualifications.

The course will take place every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday for 10 weeks, 10am – 3pm, with one to one support on a Friday, based within the Academy building itself, McKinven House, George Street, Falkirk, FK2 7EY.

Following a referral, the Link Academy team will arrange an initial meeting with their project worker, Navvy, towards the end of July. This meeting provides an opportunity for young people to visit the venue, ask any questions about the course, and allow Navvy to assess whether the programme is a good fit for their needs.

The team is happy to speak with you, or any young people you support, about how they can help, and to discuss individual referrals, should you require more information.
