Link Academy (part of the Link Group) is currently accepting referrals for its Moving On Up course, which will be running this autumn at the Link Academy, Mckinven House, George Street, Falkirk, FK2 7EY.

Moving On Up is a personal development programme designed for young people aged 16 – 19 years old, offering participants the chance to gain new skills, build confidence, explore their future goals, and connect with others in a supportive environment. Participants will work on confidence building through mental health and wellbeing workshops, volunteering opportunities, and completing SCQF qualifications.

The course runs for 8 weeks, beginning Monday 27 October 2025, taking place every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 10am – 3pm, with one-to-one support on Fridays.

Following a submitted referral, Link Academy will arrange an initial meeting with its Development Worker and the young person. This meeting provides an opportunity for young people to visit the venue, ask any questions about the course, and allows the Development Worker to assess whether the programme is a good fit for their needs.
