Starting at 10am, there are free fun activities for adults and young people all day, including the Summer Reading Challenge launch; Crafts for adults and young people; Retro gaming; and more.
You can book some workshops in advance:
- Adult Craft: 10.30am-11.30am
Designed for adults to give them a creative outlet. Join us while we tackle an easy craft suitable for adults that can be completed in 1 hour. All materials will be supplied. Come along and have some me time. - Teen Book Group (ages 12+): 1pm-2pm
Larbert Library are launching a new teen book group this September. If you are interested and would like to find out a bit more then come along on Saturday 22nd June for this special taster session. There will be quizzes, some book chat and biscuits. Suitable for anyone who will be in high school in September. - StoryPlay (ages 3-6): 1.30pm-2.30pm
Gather round to read a story, then stay to chat and play! Sharing stories is a great way to boost your child’s understanding of language and improve their listening skills. It’s also a chance to socialise – both for you and your little one! StoryPlay is aimed at children aged 3-6, you’ll enjoy a story and then have time take part in a simple activity like colouring, crafts or games.
