Central Scotland Regional Equality Council (CSREC) and the Equality Network have announced 2 half-day free training sessions on LGBTI intersectionality for service providers. Both sessions will take place on Thursday 31st August in the Lesser Halls, Albert Halls, Dumbarton Road, Stirling, FK8 2QL.
The sessions will focus on providing services to LGBTI people who are also from minority ethnic backgrounds or disabled, and will explore some of the key issues and some practical steps that services can take to better include diverse users.
While the morning session (which will be preceded by a talk from Lord Bracadale, leader on the independent review of hate crime legislation in Scotland) is currently fully booked, the afternoon session will take place from 1:30pm – 4:30pm, with registration from 1:15pm. However, tickets are going fast.
