The Wise Group has launched their fully funded Home Energy Advice Relational Mentoring Service (HEAT), which provides one to one mentoring support and advocacy to vulnerable households in Falkirk District.
The Wise Group is a social enterprise working to lift people out of poverty across the UK. They aim to build bridges to opportunity for the most vulnerable in society, through mentoring support, employment, skills, and energy advice. Their Relational Mentoring services aim to support to vulnerable households to move them onto a positive journey out of poverty.
Their team of Energy Mentors provide a holistic, independent, tailored advice to fuel-poor households experiencing energy crises, along with providing ongoing support throughout the process, helping customers understand their options and make informed decisions. This includes:
- tackling energy emergencies
- managing fuel debt and related issues
- advocate on your customer’s behalf
- accessing energy grants and crisis funds
- optimising energy usage and efficiencies
This support is designed to help people in the long term, as well as during their current crisis. Self-referrals are welcome, as are referrals from other support groups and organisations; a partner pack (linked for your convenience) is available to help with making these referrals.
To make a referral, or self-referral, please complete the online Microsoft Form.
(Please note, customers receiving New Gas Connections living in Whitecross, Letham, California, Avonbridge and Slamannan should use the SGN Falkirk New Gas Connections form.)
