The Health Lottery Foundation has opened its first Community Choice grants round of 2026, supporting projects in Scotland, England and Wales. The Foundation focuses on 6 themes:

chronic disease
disability inequity
healthcare IT
health disparity
preventative care
young people

This round prioritises initiatives working with young people. Volunteers or employees of the applicant organisation must complete the nomination form, and an eligibility quiz must be completed before nominating. Ten organisations will be selected at random to receive a £1,000 grant.

The next application deadline is Friday 27 February 2026.
