Scottish Government has launched a new, free Inclusive Communication Toolkit to help public services communicate more effectively and accessibly with diverse communities.
The resource is designed with people who communicate in different ways, to offer practical guidance and step by step support to people, helping remove barriers and improve engagement. It includes tools, examples and advice to embed inclusive communication in everyday practice, and highlights how inclusive communication can lead to better outcomes, stronger engagement and increased public trust.
By improving how information is shared and removing communication barriers, the toolkit aims to support better outcomes and ensure more people can participate fully in services and decisions which affect them across Scotland, by accessing information and express themselves.
