To celebrate LGBT History Month, Pink Saltire are hosting a Forth Valley Pink Heritage Day event on Saturday 18th February, at the Stirling Smith Art Gallery and Museum, 40 Albert Place, Dumbarton Road, Stirling, FK8 2RQ.
The event, also part of Scotland’s Year of History, Heritage and Architecture, will showcase a historical timeline of progress on LGBT equality in Scotland, as well as some of the key steps and people involved along the way. It will also bring together groups and organisations who are working in the Forth Valley area to provide services for LGBT people.
LGBT History Month has been held in Scotland since 2005, and aims to educate people on the fight for equality.
