If you are a Third Sector Organization delivering a service in Falkirk and interested in finding out more about emerging mental health themes and suicide prevention, then join our upcoming Health and Wellbeing Forum!
We would like to welcome you to our first-ever in person Health and Wellbeing Forum, which takes place from 9:45 am – 1:00pm on Wednesday 5th June 2024 at Falkirk Fire Station Westfield, Westquarter, FK2 9AH.
The focus of this Forum is emerging mental health themes for Falkirk and suicide prevention. We look forward to hearing from:
- Emerging and Current Mental Health Themes – Ian Dickson (FDAMH)
- Tackling Men’s Mental Health Stigma – Alex McClintock (Andy’s Man’s Club)
- Creating Hope in Falkirk: United to Prevent Suicide – Fiona Bartley (Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership) and Stacey McIntosh (NHS Forth Valley)
- Discussion: Planning Local Activities for Suicide Prevention Awareness Day in September 2024

Our Health and Wellbeing Forum is mainly open to staff and volunteers from third sector organisations delivering a service in the Falkirk area.
The Forum content takes place from 9:45am – 12:00pm, then 12:00pm – 1:00pm for light lunch and networking.
