Bookings are now live for the free Make Your Mark Inclusive Volunteering Conference 2026: Power in Partnership, taking place on Wednesday 4 February 2026, 10am – 4pm, online and in-person at Edinburgh Zoo. The event aims to bring together organisations from across the heritage and wider third sectors to explore how collaboration and co-creation can strengthen inclusive, sustainable volunteering.

Falkirk Food Train supports older people in local communities to remain living in their own home, as independently as possible. The Falkirk team is currently looking to recruit new volunteers. They will be holding various in person drop-in sessions in February and welcome anyone interested to go along and find out more about what they do, the volunteer roles available and how you could make a difference to older people in your community.

Our first Funding Officers Network meeting of 2026 takes place next Wednesday 4 February 2026, 10am – 11am, online via Microsoft Teams.

NHS Forth Valley, Samaritans Scotland, and Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) are holding an online event on Wednesday 4 February 2026, 11am – 12pm, via Microsoft Teams. At “Learn to Listen, Time to Talk: Exploring Listening Services”, attendees will hear from the teams at Samaritans and Breathing Space, who will be sharing information about their services and support available for all staff and volunteers working across Forth Valley.
